WORK ORA AFRICA – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction
Welcome to Work Ora Africa (“Workora”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of www.workora.africa, our mobile applications, and all related services (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws of the Republic of Ghana.
2. Nature of Service
Workora Africa is a Pan-African career and recruitment platform connecting:

Jobseekers with verified employment opportunities.

Employers and recruiters with qualified candidates.
-
Career trainers and institutions with learners seeking advancement.
Workora is not an employment agency or direct employer; it functions as a digital intermediary providing verified listings, matching, and post-placement follow-ups to ensure transparency and trust.
3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to register or use our services.

Employers and recruitment partners must be legally registered or authorized entities.

All users must provide accurate, verifiable, and updated information at all times.
4. Account Management

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You are fully accountable for any activity under your account.

Report unauthorized access immediately to support@workora.africa.
5. Job Listings and Application Policy

Employers must ensure all job postings are genuine, lawful, and clearly described.

Jobseekers must apply only for positions relevant to their skills and experience.

Workora reserves the right to suspend, edit, or delete any misleading or unlawful listing.
6. Verified Employer Framework
To ensure trust and transparency, Workora operates a Verified Employer System:

Employers may be required to submit business registration documents, tax certificates, or verifiable contact details.

Verified Employers receive a green “Verified Employer” badge on job listings.

Any misrepresentation may result in immediate suspension and permanent banning from the platform.
7. Service Fees & Payments
7.1 Employer Success Fee (Performance-Based Model)
Workora Africa operates on a results-driven model we only earn when a successful hire is made through the Platform.
Upon successful placement of a candidate, the Employer agrees to pay a Service Fee under one of the following options:
Option A – Installment Plan

7% of the candidate’s gross monthly salary, payable over three (3) consecutive months after employment confirmation.
Option B – One-Time Settlement

15% of the candidate’s first month’s gross salary, payable within the first month of employment.
This ensures that Workora only gains when we deliver measurable recruitment results.
Payment Terms:

Invoices are generated automatically and sent to the Employer’s registered email.

Payments must be made through official Workora billing channels (Bank Transfer, Mobile Money, Paystack, or Stripe).

Late payments attract a 2% monthly interest charge until fully settled.
-
Concealing or failing to report a successful hire constitutes contractual fraud and will lead to penalties, legal action, and permanent blacklisting.
7.2 Boosting & Promotional Services (Employers and Candidates)
Workora reserves the right to charge both Employers and Candidates for optional boosting or visibility services, which enhance reach and exposure across the Platform.
These include but are not limited to:

Featured Job Postings & Homepage Promotions

Employer Branding Packages
-
Candidate Profile Visibility Boosts
-
Sponsored Career Events & Virtual Interview Rooms
All boosting and promotional services are prepaid and non-refundable once activated.
7.3 Candidate Value-Added Services
Jobseekers may optionally purchase:

Profile visibility or resume enhancement services,
-
Certification verification badges, and
-
Premium career guidance tools.
These are voluntary upgrades and do not affect free access to standard job applications.
7.4 Placement Verification
Workora reserves the right to verify placement outcomes directly with both the Employer and the Candidate.
Verification may involve:

Email or SMS confirmation,
-
Digital signature acknowledgment, or
-
Payroll confirmation (salary validation).
False or concealed information will be treated as a breach of contract and subject to penalty and legal recourse.
8. Data Privacy & Protection
Workora Africa complies with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Personal data is used solely for recruitment and service improvement purposes.
We do not sell or share user data with third parties without consent.
Refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed data usage and management terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and software on the Platform remain the intellectual property of Work Ora Africa Ltd.
Unauthorized copying, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.
10. Limitation of Liability
Workora Africa acts as a digital connector and is not responsible for:

Final hiring decisions or salary negotiations,

Job losses, terminations, or disputes post-hiring, or
-
Third-party content posted on the Platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workora’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for its services.
11. Account Termination
Workora may suspend or terminate any account for:

Breach of these Terms,
-
Non-payment of due fees,
-
Fraudulent or unethical conduct, or
-
Platform misuse.
Users may voluntarily close their accounts at any time.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
All disputes shall be handled in the courts of Accra, Ghana, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Amendments
Workora Africa may modify these Terms periodically.
All updates will be published on the Platform and will take effect immediately upon posting, with a revised Effective Date.

EMPLOYER SERVICE AGREEMENT (SUPPLEMENTARY ADDENDUM)
This Agreement forms part of Workora Africa’s Terms and Conditions and applies specifically to Employers using the Platform for recruitment.

Employers agree to the performance-based fee model (7% over 3 months or 15% once-off).

Workora reserves full rights to verify placements, charge optional visibility and boosting fees, and enforce compliance for undisclosed hires.

Both parties agree to uphold confidentiality and integrity throughout all recruitment transactions.
By using Workora Africa, you acknowledge that our success is directly tied to yours, we only gain when we deliver.
